BIG Orders

It has been an exciting month for SnappinStudio, with 3 large orders being placed this month. All three of the orders were for parties/weddings and so we had to come up with some new bookmarks. I will post some new photos of those later tonight or tomorrow.

I finished another wall art, that shipped out yesterday. These are constantly getting better looking, and this one shows that progress. I didn't get many great photos, because I was in a bit of a rush to get it in the mail. The text was simple and was a great size for the piece.

It is going to Lindsay in Missouri. She chose to have the following text stamped...

I take you to be my wedded spouse, my partner in life and my one true love to have and to hold from this day forward. I promise to trust and honor you, and laugh and cry with you. THICK copper

BUSY! We have been crazy busy these past dew weeks, and orders have been coming and going. I had the chance to buy thicker copper than usual and couldn't pass up the opportunity. I had an order for a cuff, and had wanted to use thinker copper on that item for a while. I thought it was a little lightweight and easily manipulated, however, everyone that had purchased one loved it. I made a new and improved cuff, that is thick and feels great on the arm. We had a very busy week here in Birmingham, many orders came in for valentines and custom orders as well. I spent a lot of time this week on a women copper art. It is one of our personalized items, that is hand stamped with different phrases, or numbers. This week it was for Heather in Iowa, to give to her husband for a wedding anniversary gift. She chose these three phrases

It is a great gift for an anniversary, or birthday, or graduation. I love getting the feedback after, and hearing about the impact it made on the occasion. I had many bookmark orders this week as well, and as usual a custom order gave me great ideas to post on my ETSY SHOP! I also had some extra time to spend on my children (Ashton and Bailey, Brittany Spaniel pups), and so they got new hand stamped aluminum dog tags. These tags have two pieces of metal, and are hand stamped then painted. It is a really industrial eye catching identification tag. I am excited to have these for sale, I think they will do great. First attempts at cuffs with our new anvil went down today! We found the anvil and it is now for sale through Etsy at www.StampingSupplies.Etsy.com 

I was really pleased with how the tool worked out, it was easy to get all the angles hammered with the larger round end. Finished with two new cuffs, soon to be pictured... but will be similar to my others. This week should be interesting, some other blogs showed interest in featuring our art on their sites.
